Ford Firing Orders

The engine's firing order is the sequence that the spark plugs fire.

On most of the Ford rear wheel drive cars or trucks, the engines #1 cylinder is the on the passenger side and to the front of the vehicle.
On front wheel drive vehicles the #1 cylinder is on the back side of the engine and on the passenger side.
Cylinders are numbered in order of the bank except for the Nissan V6 found in the Probe and Villager, these are go left bank then right bank.
